There are many great reasons to purchase your next game direct from the publisher at a convention. First and foremost, you’re showing your support for their company by buying direct. There is also a very good chance you’ll get to meet the company’s founders and executives. If your timing is good, many publishers also bring in game designers to sign your new copy or to just rub elbows with their fans!

But let’s be honest here. You also want a deal. Whether it’s a few bucks off of MSRP or a BOGO deal, we’re all looking for that extra reason to buy-it-now. For us, we love getting freebies. Not just a button or lanyard – we love getting a promotional item that can be used with the game. And it’s something that most cannot get unless they picked up their copy at a convention, so it makes our game that much more special!
