July 2022 Movies to See
We cover an assortment of topics on the site ranging from foods to tech, travel to entertainment. For the past few years, we’ve shifted our focus to mostly board games because 1) they’re awesome, 2) they’re great for family bonding, 3) they teach life lessons and 4) people haven’t been able to go anywhere. It hasn’t been a problem since we love games, but I’ve felt a loss not being able to talk about movies as much as we used to. On February 27, 2020, I posted an article about March 2020 movies to see. My “Movies to See” series had been a regular feature since 2015 where it started as an annual post then gradually morphed into a monthly one. Throughout that time, we offered behind-the-scenes interviews, movie overviews and other TV and movie-themed content. We’ve seen several movies in the theater lately including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Top Gun: Maverick and Jurassic World: Dominion to name a few. It’s been nice to return and I want people to recognize that’s it’s entirely possible. So I’m going to try to craft more of these “Movies to See” posts with upcoming features that are available at the theater. I know there are many (many, MANY) releasing on streaming services as well, but for now I’m going to keep the article focused on the big screen. Since Independence Day weekend is synonymous with the release of major blockbusters, I figured now is as good of time as any to kick things off (again)!
If you are planning to see a movie this month and want to take in the latest releases, check out this list which includes feature films from Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Warner Bros.. Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Lionsgate Entertainment and more!

As you can see, there’s a lot of variety waiting for an audience. If you’re not comfortable with the crowds, check with your theater about showings that involve more spacing between viewers or even private screenings. We discovered it’s actually pretty affordable to do a multi-person screening of current movies. Just gather some friends, chip in and go.
Which movie(s) are you most excited to see in the theater?
