Mother Nature Missed the Spring Memo
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. Hectic schedules are the norm as pretty much every school activity hit the calendar over the past couple of weeks. Among those, Spring Break followed by the actual arrival of spring a week ago.
Then this past weekend totally took the cake. Mother Nature missed the memo that LAST week was the beginning of spring and dropped more than 10″ of snow on us. Not only are we not anywhere near flip flop weather, but we’re apparently still in need of winter gear. You know why it snowed? Because we recently sold our snow blower and I packed up all the hats and winter gloves. The benefit of the colder weather is that I can continue to wear boots for even longer… and you know how I feel about boots!
I’m regularly looking at boots online and at the store, but I always tell Scott that I don’t need another pair. I have plenty but generally prefer to wear my black Lugz Sophia boots anyhow. They’re my go-to boot, followed closely by my Flirt Hi Zip boots. When Scott asked what I thought of the new red paisley boots on the Lugz website, I didn’t even bother to look and simply said, “Nah. I’m good.”
Then curiosity got the best of me and I had to stop to look at them THEN I zoomed up on the pattern. Needless to say, I quickly changed my tune. *Sigh* Is there a 10 step program for people with boot addictions? Like my other Lugz boots, they are comfortable and look good. No surprises there! Not only are these adorable, but they’re also affordable! There’s always room for one more pair in the closet.
While Madison hasn’t developed a shoe fascination, but I’ve really enjoyed watching her newfound interest in getting new footwear. When we went looking for an outfit for her high school Turnabout dance, she selected an adorable pair of heels. I was thrilled that she picked something I thought was cute too and secretly look forward to her outgrowing them so I can have them. She’s been checking out the new seasonal releases on the Lugz website and she found a black pair to give her some diversity from the Lugz Seabrook sneakers she wears most days.
The Lugz Regent Lo Black/White are simple, yet stylish and I think that’s what drew her to them. She likes the casual look and has already fallen for the comfort Lugz footwear offers. She’s a smart kid and I suspect she’ll continue to check out the Lugz website when she’s in the mood for new boots or shoes.
We continue to recognize the quality, comfort and affordability of Lugz footwear. Not only are the ones we recently received fashionable, but there’s also a coupon code for an additional 20% off! Enter code “FF2018” at checkout to see the savings. Follow Lugz on Facebook and Twitter to find out about their latest styles and promotions. We’re fans of Lugz and are happy to be able to give away a pair to one of our readers.

I like the black, red, and the blue. All of my shoes except for Uggs pretty much fall in those colors, so I guess I am going to stick with those. Lugz is running a pretty good sale right now…my hubs say no more shoes, while pulling his hair out lol.
