Holiday Giveaways 2022 – Nidavellir Game Package by GRRRE Games / Hachette Boardgames
I remember the first time I played Nidavellir. It took me a few rounds to grasp it, but I quickly recognized how unique it was. Didn’t win, but I really enjoyed it which is why we didn’t hesitate to add it to our list of games to gift to older teens and adults. This title, published by GRRRE Games and distributed by Hachette Boardgames in the United States, was fun by itself but already has two expansions to give it even more depth and replayability.
These three things combined make up the prize package for this giveaway. One lucky reader will win the Nidavellir base game along with both the Thingvellir and Idavoll expansions! Ready to give this one a shot? Use the form to enter!
Millebourne
7 Wonders didn’t click with me at first, but I grew to really enjoy it.
Northgard and Root. Dozens of games in, haven’t won once, but I can’t stop playing it.
Settlers of Cataan didn’t go well the first couple times
Monopoly
Ticket to Ride: Marklin. I messed-up a single track and made all of my routes invalid causing me to get minus 200 points or so. It was the most crushing defeat to date, but it was a great game 😀
Chess
I’m not good at Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit but I enjoy it anyways.
“Monopoly! “I hated it because it seemed to take forever to finish a game.
Ark Nova, I have not yet grasped how it works, but I enjoy it
Gaia Project
Maybe RoboRally? I don’t mind losing at it because it is so chaotic and sometimes funny.
Chronicles Of Crime
Definitely Kingdom Rush: Rift in Time. There were so many mechanics, but in time i finally learned them all!
I have trouble with all at first, ha.
The game looks good. Would be good to win it 😀
Settlers of Catan. It’s one of my husband’s favorite games. I hated it at first, but it’s slowly grown on me, especially when I win
Dungeons & Dragons was brutal at first but was so much fun.
The game Go is such a fascinating abstract game, but it will take a very long time for me to be even decent at it.
Rummicube
The first game that came in my head was Monopoly. The game took forever and the rents etc. is not what I wanted to learn as a kid trying to have fun! Not learning adult life situations – like get out of jail free card
I WANT IT!
Dead Reckoning
Wolf
I didn’t do as well at Scythe, but got better and love it!
we are old school D&D players from its inception! This looks cool!
Wingspan. I struggled at first but now it is one of my favorites
7 Wonders for me
Backgammon
Tumblin’ Dice
