Craving a New Solution for Tangles
We have two girls, both with long hair. It is hard enough convincing them to bathe regularly at this age, much less getting after them to comb all the knots out of their hair. We’ve tried nearly every detangling shampoo and conditioner available with limited success. As you can see from the photo above, we also have experimented with different combs and brushes to try to make this whole process quicker and painless. Our daughter’s expression should tell you everything you need to know about our efforts to date.
We were offered the opportunity to try out a new product by Crave Naturals that promised a “pain free and tear free” experience. Needless to say we were skeptical.
Our daughter quickly pointed out that she like the curved profile of the brush and that it would “fit her head better”.
I also noticed that the tines of the brush did not have any nibs or ends on them. I assume this is to facilitate a gentler stroke through the hair – without the brush itself getting caught on anything.
Even after just one use she was excited to find something that worked well and with very little pain. We will still use detangling creams and conditioners, but the addition of a proper tool for combing out the knots looks to make the morning ritual a lot smoother and less drama-filled. According to the instructions, it can be used on both dry and wet hair as well as while using a blow dryer!
Pick up your own brush directly from Crave Naturals on their website. You might be able to save a couple bucks by purchasing it on Amazon (and be sure to notice the number of great reviews there)! Want to know what other products they have to offer? Follow them on Facebook and Twitter to see!
Tangles are definitely an issue for me and my daughter. I’d love a brush that was effective at detangling without pain.
I have long hair but never use a brush on it when wet – just lots of conditioner and a wide toothed comb. I’d like to try that brush though so see how different it is.
I’m really lucky; I almost never get tangles. But I’ve heard that using argan oil can help with tangles, too. 🙂
You’re right, and my wife uses Argan Oil for her hair. But heck if I’m spending that kind of money on a 9 yr old! 😉
Oh where has this been all of my daughter’s life! We fight about brushing her hair everyday. She has super thick long hair and I swear some days it looks like she brushed it with a rock. I have got to check this brush out. Thanks!
This could be the solution to a life-long problem! I’m on my way to go check it out. Thanks!
