Holiday Giveaways 2019 – Light Therapy Lamp by Circadian Optics
I try to be a positive person. It’s important to me to assume that people are honest and caring. I’m one of those people who looks for the bright side of even pitfall. It’s hard, but it’s possible. But let me tell you that when winter hits, I struggle with winter blues. The weather keeps us locked up inside and the sun doesn’t stick around for much of the day. I guess it doesn’t like the weather in Iowa either.
When I found out that Circadian Optics has light therapy lamps that you put on your desk (or wherever) to help give you the “sunlight” your body craves, we added it to our Home & Electronics gift guide. What a great idea for your personal wellness! If you saw Circadian Optics on Shark Tank or heard Dr. Oz talking about them on The Today Show then you already know how these lamps work. If not, read more in our gift guide or on their website! Either way, be sure to enter to win this awesome prize by filling out the form!

It can be a depressing season since so many of our friends and family have passed.
I suffer from really bad seasonal depression and we have the darkest and dreariest winters of almost any state here in Michigan, due to the complete lack of sunlight. I think that would be the biggest benefit for me.
I think it would help me with SAD – Seasonal Affective Disorder
I think having the option to increase your bodies seriton levels naturaly to help ease depression help with sleep and focus and over all quality of life with out adding chemicals is a pretty awesome benifit
If you look at states with rainy/dark weather they are typically among the top 10 states with the highest depression. Seasonal depression is very real. Light therapy is a therapy method for those folks with seasonal depression. Here in Northern Ky the gloom sets in around November or December and pretty much stays here until March. Sure, we have an occasional sunny day but on the whole we stay under cloud cover for 3 to 4 months. And for those 3 to 4 months my mood follows the weather. I know that I feel so much better when the sun is out. Surely this is worth a shot.
To help with SAD
I think the biggest benefit of using light therapy is preventing Seasonal Affective Disorder.
The greatest benefit for me would be not dreading the dark days of winter.
Thanks for the contest.
I would rather use a light like this to get me out of my funk than to pop another prescribed pill
